Sephora VIB Sale Haul

The past couple weeks have been absolutely insane for me. I had a ton of projects and presentations due, I got accepted to a school in NYC, and I got offered a summer internship. So last month was completely occupied with school, work, trying to find a roommate, apartment hunting, and planning a move. Needless to say, a lot of things got put on the back burner, which is why I’ve been so MIA from here lately. I’m so sorry and I promise I’ll be better once I’m settled into my new place!

Anyways, time for another haul! The Sephora VIB sale always gets me, because there are so many amazing brands on sale. I typically tend to go crazy, and get way more than I need. I like to think I was pretty good this time around, though, because two of the things I got were just restocks for items I’ve run out of. The other things were items I’ve had my eyes on for months, but was waiting for the sale to get.

Sigma Haul

I’m always on the hunt for the perfect makeup brushes. I get an idea of what I want in my head, and then end up searching sites for months for it. The brush that I had been searching for recently was a crease brush somewhere in between the MAC 224/Sigma E40 and the MAC 217. I wanted something that would get my lower transition area, but was still fluffy. My search brought me to Sigma, who seems to have pretty much every brush you could imagine. Thanks to a 20% off promo code I found online, I made a, pretty large, purchase. (Use code IMATSNY for 20% off now!)

Ulta Platinum Haul!

I have been buying so much stuff lately, like it’s awful. I genuinely think I’m averaging like two packages a week from online places, and maybe one bag from an actual store. About two weeks ago, Ulta did one of their Platinum sales, which is 20% off everything. I’ve been saving up my points for a few months, and had $125 off my purchase. So between the two discounts, I got a ton of makeup and spent I think only $8, which isn’t bad at all!

February 2017 Favorites

February really kicked my butt. It snuck up on me out of no where, and then was gone just like that. I feel like I needed another week in that month to get everything that I needed done. By the time I got my January Favorites up, I had like a week till I needed to get my February Favorites up. Now that I’m looking at the date, I realize how behind I actually am, whoops! Better late than never, right?feb 17 favs

Morphe Haul

Morphe is one of those brands that no matter how hard you try, you can’t avoid them. Everyone is always talking about them and using their products. People rave about their brushes and shadows and pretty much everything else in their collection. I’ve been meaning to try out their products for probably a year and a half, but for whatever reason, I never have. Like I don’t know why, but I hate ordering makeup online. Clothes? No problem. But when it comes to makeup, I want it right now. Morphe finally sucked me in by re-releasing their limited edition 25B eyeshadow palette. I’m all about neutrals, so for me, this palette is what dreams are made of.

Charlotte Tilbury: The Golden Goddess Eyeshadow and Pillow Talk Lipstick Review

Let me be the first to say that Charlotte Tilbury products are ridiculously expensive. Like, for the price of one of her eyeshadow quads, you could buy an entire Urban Decay Naked palette. That’s 12 eyeshadows from UD for the price of four from CT. One of her lipsticks could get you two from MAC. So when I say expensive, I mean it. Having said that, I recently decided to treat myself. I had been doing really well at saving money and my birthday had just passed, so I decided to splurge and get two items from her collection.

January 2017 Favorites

This is the first favorites of 2017! This post was kind of hard for me, because the last few days of the month I found myself using and loving the same products, but I didn’t use them long enough to warrant a mention in this favorites. They will definitely make an appearance next month, though! A few of the products (like the face mask) were a no-brainer for me, because I use them almost daily. Overall, I feel like this is a really good combination of products that I was obsessed with at the beginning and end of the month!

My Current Nighttime Skin Care Rountine

I’m very into skin care. I take it very seriously, and am always looking for new products to add to my routine to make my skin the absolute best that it can be. A couple days ago I posted about my morning skincare routine (which you can check out here if you missed it). I use different products depending on the time of day, and putting it all into one huge post seemed like it would be too long, so I decided to separate it into two different posts. This one is about my nighttime routine (in case you couldn’t tell by the title, haha). I also added in the face masks that I use regularly and love.

My Current Morning Skin Care Routine

Skin care is something that I take very seriously. Growing up, I had terrible acne, to the point where my classmates would make fun of me. So once I found a routine that got my skin under control, I stuck to it for dear life. I’ve been using the same products for about four years now, and my skin has cleared up substantially. There are a few products that I’ve changed around since my last post about this, which is why I decided to make an updated post. My morning and night routine do vary, which is why I’m going to make two separate posts. The nighttime routine will also include the face masks that I’ve been using and loving lately.

Tarte ManEater Palette Review and Swatches

I get serious FOMO when it comes to makeup. Like, whenever I see something that is limited edition, I feel like I have to get it or I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. This usually results in me impulse buying something that I definitely don’t need. On my last trip to Ulta, I went in with the intention of buying more of my face serum, and somehow ended up walking out with Tarte’s newest palette, the ManEater eyeshadow palette.
