Haul: Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Sale and Sephora

The Ulta 21 Days of beauty sale is my kryptonite. Whenever I see the sale happening, I buy so much stuff, simply cause the deals are unbeatable. Like, most things are 50% off. Which is insane when it comes to like Anastasia or Too Faced products. Since the sale happened this past month, I ended up picking up quite a bit. I also picked up some stuff from Sephora because I became a VIB, so I had 10%. Basically, I spent my whole paycheck on makeup, oops, but who can blame me with these deals?!

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette
I ordered this online immediately when it was released because I knew I had to get my hands on it. I actually have a whole post on it with swatches here if you want to check it out. But I have been really loving this palette lately for transition shades and definitely recommed checking it out!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadows – Hot Chocolate, Sateen, and Burnt Orange Matte
I absolutely love Anastasia shadows. I think they are so smooth and buttery and apply so well. However, they are super expensive at $12 a piece, which is why I buy them few and far between. When I was at the mall last, I decided to pop into Sephora and pick up a few colors that I had been eyeing. I love all of these, especially Sateen, and have been getting compliments whenever I wear them. I definitely recommend these, but if you do get them, buy either through Ulta or Anastasia’s website because they offer discounts when you buy multiples.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
I’m definitely late to the party on this one. I picked this up after hearing everyone and their cousin rave about it, and I totally get why. I love using this to outline my brows and fill in the really sparce areas, and then I use my brow powder to get the rest. This makes it beyond easy to fill in my brows, also I love the color selection.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo
I’ve been wanting to try this for the longest time, and when I saw it was half off during the 21 Days of Beauty Sale at Ulta, I knew I had to get it. I honestly like this more than my beloved Benefit Brow-Zings, I think there is a better color selection, and I like that they give two different powder colors as opposed to a powder and a wax.

E.L.F Blending Brush
I randomly picked this up because I wanted a smaller blending brush that could fit directly into my crease. It was only $3, so nothing insane, I’ve just started using it so I really don’t have an opinion on it yet.

NYX Intense Butter Gloss – Tres Leches
I’ve heard a lot of good things about these, so I went and picked one up at Ulta. I really like the color of this, it’s literally the shade of my lips, so it’s something nice and easy to just throw on quickly when I want a little something on my lips. The formula is comfortable on the lips, but it is a little sticky, nothing unbearable though.

Too Faced La Matte Lipstick – When in Doubt…
This was 50% off during the Ulta sale, so I decided to grab it. I’m always looking for the perfect nude, and this looked like the best one in the display. I really like the color, it’s nude, but doesn’t wash me out or look too orange, which is something that’s hard for me to find. The formula isn’t too drying on the lips for a matte shade, which is always a plus. It lasts a decently long time too. This is definitely my favorite nude of the moment!

Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner
This was another thing that I bought simply because it was on sale. The liner lasts pretty well on the waterline without fading or transferring and it is really black. One thing I don’t like is that every time you put the cap on, it sharpens the pencil. It’s cool in theory, but I feel like it wastes so much product. I’m still in the early stages of testing this out, so I don’t know if I love it yet, but we’ll see.

Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner
I got a sample of this like a year ago, and decided to pick up the full size cause it was on sale. Honestly, I don’t love this product. I don’t like the applicator, I find it annoying and hard to work with at times. The reason I picked it up was because when I’m doing messy/grungy eye looks, I like messy eyeliner, which this gives me. I think there are so many better eyeliners out there, so I would not pick it up again unless it was on sale if at all.

Have you picked up anything new recently?
