It’s time for another monthly favorites! A little late, but I apologize, I was in New York City for a few days and that put my whole week behind. I had to catch up on all my assignments I missed, and do all the ones due this week. So needless to say it’s been crazy. But the work is done and the post is up!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz – Medium Brown ($21 at Sephora)
I’m seriously so late to this, but I’m obsessed. I love how easy this makes it to fill in your brows and to shape them how you want. It’s especially good for really sparse areas because the pencil is so thin it really makes drawing hairs easy. I also love how there is such a big color selection, because I finally found a product that wasn’t too warm for me and made my brows look like a different color than my hair. I definitely recommend getting this if you haven’t already!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo – Medium Brown ($23 at Sephora)
Anastasia is the queen of brows. I’ve been loving both her brow products and using them daily. I love outlining and shaping my brows with the pencil, and then filling in with this powder. I find that it makes my brows look super natural and not really drawn on. I also love how this give a lighter powder and a darker one. The lighter one is perfect for the first little bit of my brows, and the darker color goes everywhere else.
Too Faced La Matte Lipstick – When in Doubt… ($22 at Ulta)
Being as pale as I am is such a struggle, because finding the perfect nude becomes that much harder. Everything is too dark, too light, washes me out, too brown, too orange, too everything. Although I still haven’t found my holy grail nude, I’m one lipstick closer! This is such a gorgeous color. It’s not too brown or orange on my lips, which is definitely hard to find for me. It also has the right amount of pink in it without it being a pink. The formula is also really comfortable, it’s a matte, but it isn’t drying on the lips. It also is long lasting, which is totally a plus!
Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder ($12 at Sephora)
This is like an all in one hair product, it has dry shampoo, volumizer, and a style extender in it. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but if you don’t get crazy too applying it, it will last. I’ve been absolutely loving this lately, because I’ve been into messy, just rolled out of bed hair. This adds a lot of volume to my thin, flat hair, and helps to keep the grease at bay. It also give me the tousled look that I love.
Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics ($54 at Ulta)
I have been using this palette pretty much every day since I got it. I love all the transition shades in here, because there is pretty much a color for every person and every look. The colors I use everyday are Nudie for my transition color and Blow for a highlight. Nudie is just the perfect transition shade because it’s just a little bit darker than my skin. And Blow is shimmery, but not in your face so. It’s the perfect balance of shimmer and subtle. I wrote a full review on this here if you want to check it out to hear more about this palette!
