Morphe Haul

Morphe is one of those brands that no matter how hard you try, you can’t avoid them. Everyone is always talking about them and using their products. People rave about their brushes and shadows and pretty much everything else in their collection. I’ve been meaning to try out their products for probably a year and a half, but for whatever reason, I never have. Like I don’t know why, but I hate ordering makeup online. Clothes? No problem. But when it comes to makeup, I want it right now. Morphe finally sucked me in by re-releasing their limited edition 25B eyeshadow palette. I’m all about neutrals, so for me, this palette is what dreams are made of.

Charlotte Tilbury: The Golden Goddess Eyeshadow and Pillow Talk Lipstick Review

Let me be the first to say that Charlotte Tilbury products are ridiculously expensive. Like, for the price of one of her eyeshadow quads, you could buy an entire Urban Decay Naked palette. That’s 12 eyeshadows from UD for the price of four from CT. One of her lipsticks could get you two from MAC. So when I say expensive, I mean it. Having said that, I recently decided to treat myself. I had been doing really well at saving money and my birthday had just passed, so I decided to splurge and get two items from her collection.

Tarte ManEater Palette Review and Swatches

I get serious FOMO when it comes to makeup. Like, whenever I see something that is limited edition, I feel like I have to get it or I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. This usually results in me impulse buying something that I definitely don’t need. On my last trip to Ulta, I went in with the intention of buying more of my face serum, and somehow ended up walking out with Tarte’s newest palette, the ManEater eyeshadow palette.

Zoeva Haul and Review

Hey everyone! Hopefully you all had an amazing holiday season! Mine was super hectic. Between work, all the holiday festivities, and getting sick, I feel like I haven’t stopped in weeks! Anyways, I am back with yet another haul post!

I’ve always wanted to try out products from Zoeva. So many people rave about their brushes and palettes because they are so cheap but still high quality. I could never bring myself to complete my order, though, because of how expensive shipping was. For Black Friday, they did their first ever sale, giving 20% off everything on the site. I knew I had to place an order, so I set my alarm for 6 am when the sale was starting (I got off work at 3 am). After an hour of the website continually crashing and reloading, I finally placed my order.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette Review

So way back in March, Too Faced released their limited edition Sweet Peach palette. I went back and forth on whether or not I wanted it, and when I finally decided I did (literally at 5 pm of the launch day) it was out of stock everywhere. And I mean everywhere. I checked every website, Ulta, Sephora, and Sephora in JCPenney near me, and none of them had the palette. I was heartbroken. When I heard it was coming back in stock for Christmas, I knew I had to get it. Fast forward to December 2nd at 1 am, I’m glued to my computer anxiously trying to get the early release of the palette. After the website crashing multiple times, and my computer crashing, I finally get the palette, at 2:45 am (and thanks to my lovely boyfriend for buying me it as a Christmas gift). I thought that everything would be smooth sailing from there, but nope. A few days later, I see my palette was delivered to my school, but I never got a slip notifying me to pick up a package. I checked every day for the next five days, but never got a slip. I got fed up and asked if someone would check the mailroom, and sure enough, my package is sitting there, they just forgot to give me my slip.

Needless to say, getting this palette was probably one of the most difficult things ever, but I have it and it’s mine and I love it. So in honor of the launch tomorrow, I decided to post my review!

Product Empties

I’m not the type of person to go through makeup quickly. I like to savor the purchase, and use up every last ounce of it so I can get my moneys worth. So it’s not common that I go through an entire product. I did notice this month, however, that I had quite a few products that were nearing the end of their life, so I decided to make an empties post! I made sure to talk about my thoughts on the product and if I would repurchase, too, so it’s also like a mini review.

Lorac Pro Palette 3 Review and Swatches

I’m a huge fan of Lorac’s shadows. If you read my post about my favorite eyeshadow formulas, you’ll know just how much I love them. So when I heard they were coming out with a new palette, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I decided to hold off until a sale, though, because I was trying to be good with my money. So when Ulta sent me a coupon for $10 off Lorac, I knew I had to get it.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Eyeshadow Review and Dupes

I was going back and forth with myself debating whether or not I should post this, because, as I’m sure you’ve heard by now, this palette was pulled from the collection and is no longer available for purchase due to poor and inconsistent quality. I ended up deciding to post it because although you cannot buy this palette officially at Sephora, it’s up for sale on resale sites such as eBay. So this review might be helpful for someone trying to purchase it, or for those curious about the quality of the palette and my take on it being pulled from the shelves. I also made a list of dupes, for those of you who were hoping to get your hands on this palette but were unable to. All the dupes I have, with the exception of one, are from shadows that I own, which is why there are a lot of palette repeats.
