My Top 10 Eyeshadows

I’m an eyeshadow junkie. I love eyeshadows so much, I love looking at them, swatching them, wearing them, buying them, everything! My eyeshadow collection has expanded quite a bit since I really got into wearing makeup, and I have come to know what colors and formulas I like and don’t like. That’s why I thought it would be a fun post to share my top 10 favorite shadows (in no particular order)! I’m definitely a neutral girl, so these are all browns. These are the colors that I could not live without, I have sooo many more that I love, but I thought these 10 were some of the best.

Urban Decay Sin
I love pink eyeshadows, and this is the ultimate one. I find that a lot of pink shadows turn more tan throughout the day, but this one stays pink. If you have medium or darker skin, this would probably work out more as a highlihgter shade as opposed to a lid color. But for me this is the perfect shade. The formula is also amazing!

Urban Decay Buck
This is a matte medium brown color. The reason I love it so much is because it is the perfect shade of brown. It doesn’t lean too red or too yellow, making it perfect for so many looks.

Urban Decay Sidecar
This color is like the brown version of sin. It has a pinkish undertone to it, but nothing crazy. It goes with so many looks, from all over the lid to a crease color.

MAC All That Glitters
Another pink, but unlike Sin, this one leans more tan/orange. Throughout the day, it does loose a lot of its pink, but it’s still gorgeous. This color is hands down my favorite MAC shadow, because I constantly get compliments when I wear it!

MAC Brule
This is a matte beige color, kind of blah in the pan, but amazing on the eye! The reason I actually love it so much is because it matches my skin pretty well, so if i accidentally blend my eyeshadow up too high, I can use this almost like an eraser to make it look better. This is also my go to brow bone highlighter.

MAC Soft Brown
If your looking for the perfect transition color, look no further! This color is incredible. It does look pretty orange if you apply heavy handed, but when you apply a little at a time, the color is perfect! This is one of those colors I recommend to everyone!

Make Up Forever ME-512
This color comes in their Artist Palette #1. It’s a bright, shimmery white color, perfect for inner corner highlighting. When using a light hand, it also looks gorgeous on the brow bone. And don’t even get me started on the formula! It’s beyond  incredible! Seriously, the best around.

Lorac Unconditional
This is a matte purplely brown, perfect for any mauve eye looks. In the winter time, this shadow is on my eyes almost every day! The formula is amazing, it’s so buttery, and it blends amazingly!

Urban Decay Tease
This is another color that is amazing in the crease! If I’m ever doing a cool-toned eye look, this is my transition color.

Lorac White
One last highlight color! This is a matte white color, it’s perfect for on the brow bone and in the inner corner. The formula is amazing, and it blends out so well!

  1. I literally weep for Sin, Buck and Sidecar because they’re the three shadows that are now totally empty in my Naked Palette! I definitely need to get a new one! You should try the NYX prismatic eyeshadow in Bedroom Eyes- it’s similar to the ones you’ve mentioned above and its absolutely gorgeous! Great post xx

  2. Urban Decay Tease is a must have for me. I never hear anyone talk about it but it’s so good. I’m glad someone else recognizes it! These are all great shades. Mine favs include MAC Nylon, MAC Omega, Makeup Geek Beaches & Cream, and L’Oreal Iced Latte.
